mîrus Consulting Group is a local company based in Humacao, Puerto Rico that provides computer system validation and information technology consulting services to pharmaceutical companies and other organizations across the Island and parts of the United States. Its services include the assessment and validation of automation equipment, network infrastructures and business processes, as well as the project management involved.

Position Summary
The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional projects from concept through execution and product launch. This role drives strategic initiatives including New Product Introduction (NPI), technology transfers, process development, commercialization, lifecycle management, and capital projects. The Sr. Project Manager ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while effectively managing risks, resources, schedules, governance processes, and change control activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage complex projects across multiple functional areas from business case development through execution and commercialization.
  • Drive project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure activities in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, resource plans, budgets, risk registers, and project governance documentation.
  • Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, accountability, and successful project outcomes.
  • Lead New Product Introduction (NPI), technology transfer, process development, lifecycle management, and commercialization initiatives.
  • Oversee capital project activities, ensuring compliance with business, quality, regulatory, and operational requirements.
  • Process validation experience supporting change control management, project controls, capital projects, NPI, technology transfer, process development, lifecycle management, and commercialization initiatives.
  • Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies while implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Lead change control processes and ensure proper documentation and stakeholder approvals throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and communicate progress, risks, and key milestones to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective decision-making processes and governance reviews.
  • Ensure successful project execution while maintaining focus on quality, compliance, cost, and schedule commitments.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to project management methodologies, tools, and processes.
Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree and 2 years of Project Management experience, OR
  • Master’s degree and 4 years of Project Management experience, OR
  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of Project Management experience
  • Previous experience in: Change Control Management, Project Controls and Capital Projects.
  • Demonstrated experience leading: New Product Introduction (NPI), Technology Transfer Programs, Process Development Programs, Lifecycle Management Initiatives and Commercialization Projects.
