Job Description

• Support method development and validation analysis to test new products manufactured at the site.
• Perform testing of experimental, confirmation and registration lots, stabilities, and new supplier certifications.
• Participate in the transfer of analytical technology to commercial laboratories.
• Perform compendial test verifications under minimum supervision and prepare summaries of experimental trials.
• Interpret results obtained during method development and troubleshoot tests as needed.
• Execute analytical and cleaning method validation protocols and summarize results to aid in validation report preparation.
• Perform non-conventional testing of solid dosage forms under the supervision of the PD Analytical Development Senior Scientist.
• Perform testing for API, raw materials, in-process samples, research samples, finished product, and stability samples following analytical specifications. Maintain inventory of reagents and supplies in the PD laboratory.
• Support revision of SOPs and preparation of analytical specifications for API, excipients, and finished product, as needed.
• Support the EHS program to ensure compliance with safety policies.

Requirements

• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a cGMP regulated analytical laboratory.
• Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Chemistry required.
• Computer literate.
• Bilingual (Spanish / English).
