Position Summary The Sr. Associate Technical Engineering will provide technical engineering support on all system/equipment optimization strategies, upgrades, replacements, and modifications and ensure that all of the maintenance team operations and activities are maintained in compliance with respect to current corporate policies, industry standards, regulatory standards and FDA standards. Key Responsibilities
Perform troubleshooting, adjustment, and maintenance on mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to PLC systems, specifically Rockwell platforms.
Troubleshoot and adjust vision inspection systems, including Cognex and Systech technologies.
Support equipment changeovers, calibrations, and system upgrades.
Document work is performed in compliance with cGMP standards and internal procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Operations) to resolve equipment performance issues.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve operational reliability.
Provide technical guidance and support to operators and maintenance personnel.
Required Technical Knowledge
Mechanical equipment adjustment and troubleshooting
PLC troubleshooting (Rockwell preferred)
Vision systems troubleshooting/adjustment, specifically Cognex
Understanding of cGMP regulations
Knowledge and troubleshooting skills for Systech Vision System
Qualifications Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience combinations:
Master’s degree, OR
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Engineering experience, OR
Shift: Candidate may be assigned to any shift (A, B, C, or D). Must have availability for 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM and/or 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM.
