mirus Consulting Group is a local company based in Humacao, Puerto Rico that provides computer system validation and information technology consulting services to pharmaceutical companies and other organizations across the Island and parts of the United States. Its services include the assessment and validation of automation equipment, network infrastructures and business processes, as well as the involved project management.

The Supplier Engineer concentrates on all aspects o Suf supplier management, supplier process & material changes. This role provides technical support for MFG lines at the Dorado site. The Supplier Engineering Team is responsible for the pending Component Qualifications.  
  
Responsabilities: 

• Execution of component qualifications for Angiojet mfg lines.
• Foster open and transparent communication with suppliers to ensure mutual understanding of expectations and objectives. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Regulatory to align supplier/component performance with company goals.
• Participates in large scale projects or leads smaller scale projects under guidance from senior engineering staff.
• Plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope.
• Interfaces with suppliers with support cross functional team members to support investigation of supplied material issues or supply constraints. 

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineer, preferably biomedical.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience as a Supplier Engineer or similar.
• Proficiency in statistical tools, such as Minitab.
• Proficiency in report writing skills.

  Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working under regulated environment per ISO13485 and FDA guidelines.
